Our goal is to guide you through the financial aid process at Housatonic Community College. We are a part of the State of Connecticut Community College System, we provide access to higher education at an outstanding value. Annual tuition at HCC is a fraction of the cost compared to public and private universities. We understand that funding your education can be overwhelming at times for you and your family, but our office is here to help ease some of the worry.
What is Financial Aid?
Financial aid comes in the form of federal, state, institutional, and private fund(s) used to assist eligible students in funding their education. Financial aid can be a combination of grants, federal work-study, and federal loans. The amount and type of aid you receive will depend upon your family’s income, assets and household size.
In order to provide you with timely responses regarding your financial aid application, we correspond to you via your college assigned e-mail address . It is important to regularly check your email for messages from our office and other departments.
