Startup And Small Business Legal Considerations

FREE SEMINAR!

Regulation SeminarMost startup and small business owners aren't legal experts. But every business needs to interact with, follow, and be aware of the laws that govern their company and their industry. In this seminar, you'll learn from legal expert Bob Statchen what regulations exist that will impact your business, your customer relationships, and your ability to sell, grow, and potentially sell your business. You'll also learn what new changes in the law mean for you if you run a website that takes customer information, and you'll get a chance to ask your most important business-law related questions.

This seminar will be taught by Bob Statchen, WNEU School of Law Small Business Clinic Director, serving hundreds of entrepreneurs and small business owners while providing real-world, experiential learning opportunities for students. In the clinic, he supervises upper-level law students delivering transactional legal services such as entity formation, trademark and copyright registration, employment law compliance, contract drafting, tax planning and regulatory analysis. Additionally, he teaches courses in Business Planning and International Military Law and is one of the advisors for the Philip C. Jessup International Law Moot Court Competition. He has also taught regularly in the Law Department at the United States Coast Guard Academy since 2002.
