There are various categories of new students. Review the categories below to help you select the most appropriate application process for your situation.

New College Student

Anyone who has never attended another higher education institution

Continuing Student

Continuing Student
It’s easy for current HCC students to register for classes!

Readmit

Re-admit
Anyone whose last semester of attendanceat HCC was over two years ago.

Transfer

Transfer
Anyone who has attended another higher education institution prior to HCC admission.

Veteran

Veteran
Those who have served in the active military, naval, or air service.

Non-Degree

Visiting/Non-Degree
Anyone interested in enrolling incourses and is not interested in pursuing a degree.

International Students

International Student
A student on an F-1 visa, or one who would like to apply for an F-1 (student) visa.
