Professor of Criminal Justice and Political Science, Coordinator of the Criminal Justice Program, Professor Samantha Mannion is an attorney and a Professor of both Criminal Justice and Political Science
Professor Mannion earned her Bachelor’s of Science Degree in Political Science from New York University, and her Juris Doctorate from New York Law School. Prior to teaching, she worked in various agencies within the U.S. Department of Justice and the Federal Bureau of Prisons. Her legal areas of expertise are criminal, constitutional and human rights law.
Professor Mannion is a member of the Fairfield County Detectives’ Conference, a certified parliamentarian, a trained Title IX Coordinator and a sworn Justice of the Peace. She is also an elected member of the Board of Education for the New Fairfield public school district.
